Technology's Not [always] Our Friend

Several years back, I heard legendary analog designer Bob Pease speak at a conference in Silicon Valley. Although I had heard of Pease before that time, it was still surprising to see him in person. First of all, he sported a pretty long beard, second of all his style was really folksy, and third of all – rather than use PowerPoint for his slides, or skip slides entirely, he used transparencies and an overhead projector.
