When somebody gets laid off, or moves on to a different job, who's left holding the bag? The team, especially when the documentation that was supposed to be put in place all along the way, wasn't.

Stanford President John Hennessy was honored with the Dr. Morris Chang Exemplary Leadership Award at the annual GSA Awards Dinner Celebration on Thursday evening, December 9th. Several years back, I heard legendary analog designer Bob Pease speak at a conference in Silicon Valley. Although I had heard of Pease before that time, it was still surprising to see him in person. First of all, he sported a pretty long beard, second of all his style was really folksy, and third of all – rather than use PowerPoint for his slides, or skip slides entirely, he used transparencies and an overhead projector.
